All my website hosting including for this ‘blog’ has now been moved from Strato in Germany to Azure in the UK. The main reason being to be able to play around with the following technologies: –

Azure App Service

Azure Database for MySQL

Have the ability to use ‘free’ trusted SSL certificates

Apply various content security policies

All of the above are technologies I use fairly regularly for work anyway but figured it would be useful as a testing exercise to improve my skills.

Conclusion – everything went smoothly and I am happy with the results.
